A large grass fire was reported in southern Dallas Sunday afternoon, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue.

Shortly before 5:15 p.m., emergency crews were notified of a fire near Botham Jean Boulevard and the South Central Expressway service road, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue.Firefighters found multiple fires at the location near where railroad tracks in the area cross the Trinity River, according to the department.As of 9:20 p.m., the first was “largely under control and de-escalating,” Dallas Fire-Rescue said. No injures have been reporte.
