Friday morning thanks to up to 55 mph gusts that have been lashing the midstate since Thursday night. Some could see power restored by late Friday morning, while others could be waiting all night, according to PPL and Met Ed outage maps. The National Weather Service said drivers should use extra caution Friday morning, particularly drivers of large vehicles such as tractor-trailers.
