Members of the public are invited to a meet and greet with Casey Kaufhold and two of her teammates.
Athletes on Team USA are getting ready to make the trip to Paris for the Olympics.That includes Lancaster County's Casey Kaufhold , who graduated from Conestoga Valley High School.At 20 years old, she's the world's No. 1 ranked women's archer. She heads to the summer games looking to become the first American woman to medal in archery since Luann Ryan won the gold medal in Montreal in 1976.This will be Kaufhold's second trip to the Olympics.
'Yeah, it's awesome to represent Lancaster County. It feels small, compared to all of the big cities I've been to. So, it's super cool to have such a tight-knit small community. I love when people come up to me in the shop and say, 'I read your article in the paper,' or 'I saw you on the news.' It's awesome to have people appreciate and follow along,' she said.
