Frank Lampard has held crunch talks with Everton owner Farhad Moshiri today, talkSPORT understands EFC
“I never get that far down the line to fear, I just do my job, I get up every day and think how we can get a little bit better, it’s as simple as that.”It is understood the Everton board are deliberating whether a change of manager is needed and assessing potential candidates.
Toffees supporters vented their frustrations at the club’s top brass after the team’s latest defeat with a number of banners calling for the Everton board to go being held at the London Stadium. Alongside chairman Bill Kenwright, Moshiri was asked about Lampard’s future at the club after Saturday’s defeat, saying the decision wasn’t in his hands.
Sky Sports journalist Gary Cotterill asked Kenwright: “Bill, is that it for Frank now do you think? It’s been a tough run of results hasn’t it?” Kenwright responded: “It’s been a bad run of results for us all and for Frank, but no, I would never ever say that to you. Ever.”Kenwright said: “Yeah, we’ve just got to start winning haven’t we. It’s a bad time.”
