HISD: Lamar High School on lockdown due to social media threat, all students safe
Lamar High School was placed on a precautionary lockdown on Monday due to a threat posted on social media that was circulating among students, according to Houston ISD.
"All students are safe at this time," Principal Rita Graves wrote in a statement to the school community sent around 12:30 p.m."We take all threats seriously as the safety of our students and staff is always our top priority," the principal said.on social media, although no evidence was found to substantiate it.
