Lakers owner Jeanie Buss made her first comments about the team drafting Bronny James.
The Los Angeles Lakers' decision to select USC point guard Bronny James with the No. 55 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft caused a lot of controversy. USC fans were hopeful he would return to college basketball for another year to grow his skills even more.
Within the interview, Buss made her first public comments about the Lakers drafting guard Bronny James out of USC. Buss credited Bronny for already being one of the hardest-working players on the team. She believes he will be a contributor this coming season.'He is, already, one of the hardest-working guys on the team,' Buss said. 'He participated in summer league over the summer. He's a fellow Trojan, so I like that, from USC.
