Lake Creek is off to its best start in school history and beat the Bears for just the second time in five attempts and first time since 2019. Senior quarterback Cade Tessier threw three touchdown passes and rushed for two more. He finished with 280 yards passing and 120 rushing. Sam Lee had four receptions for 145 yards and two scores.
“He’s coming along.” Cooper said of Williams. “He’s a competitor. He wants to be great and has gotten so much better week-to-week. This obviously was by far his best game. We are excited to continue to work with him and for him to continue to grow.”
