All in a day's work for Lady Gaga.
While Gaga was moving past a throng of photographers and journalists before the ceremony began, one photographer ran up to catch the nominee from another angle before he appeared to trip on the hem of Gaga's train and fall. Unlike many of the other onlookers, the nominee herself immediately jumped into action, sprinting to help the man up from the ground.
The moment was captured on video from several different angles, and all of them immediately began to go viral on Twitter. “Lady Gaga’s combat journalist skills finally jumped out at the Oscars lmao,” journalist Joey Nolfi quipped. “Me when I disguise as a photographer & fall down to finally get noticed by Gaga,” another person joked. “Not all heroes wear capes. Lady Gaga jumped into action to help a photographer who took a stumble on the #Oscars champagne carpet,” tweeted another viewer.
