Kylie Kelce and her three daughters with husband Jason Kelce were ‘so excited’ to watch Donna Kelce’s role in ‘Christmas on Call’
The whole Kelce crew was elated to catch Donna Kelce’s Hallmark debut in the Philly-centric holiday rom-com Christmas on Call.
“The girls were so excited to see their DeeDee in Christmas on Call, the @hallmarkchannel movie,” Kylie Kelce wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, November 23, sharing a still of her mother-in-law’s role. “We are streaming it on @peacock.”The beloved NFL mama plays a character named Donna, who works at a cheesesteak restaurant in Christmas on Call, one of Hallmark’s original “Countdown to Christmas” films.
Donna’s brief cameo marks her official acting debut. She will also play a character with her name in the network’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, premiering on November 30. “It’s nothing major,” Donna told Vulture in September of her “little teeny cameos” in the holiday flicks. “It just was something that they thought they’d throw in the movie. So, it’s kind of fun. One of them’s about Philly and the other one’s about the Chiefs. So it kinda made sense.”In addition to branching out in the acting world, Donna’s greatest role is as a mom and grandma. She and ex-husband Ed Kelce share sons Jason and Travis Kelce, both of whom are household names in the NFL.
She added, “We’re just very similar in our likes and dislikes and how we feel about the world and everything that goes on in the United States. We pretty much have the same temperature when it comes to what’s going on.”“It is those traits that I think helped understand that women can be a strong force,” Kylie told Us in June. “Although they’re no longer together, his parents were very much a partnership in how they function, and it was a team effort.
