Minnesota college student Jayson Gonzalez drove to Iowa every weekend to buy hundreds of Krispy Kreme doughnuts to sell in his hometown.

Krispy Kreme told 21-year-old Jayson Gonzalez to stop reselling its donuts in his hometown. Gonzalez drove 270 miles each weekend to buy hundreds of donuts from a Krispy Kreme store in Iowa and bring these back to sell in hometown in Minnesota. According to the Associated Press, there hasn't been a Krispy Kreme store in Minnesota for the last 11 years. Gonzalez would buy 100 boxes of 12 donuts at full price and sell these for between $17 and $20.
