Vincent Kompany is ‘million miles ahead’ Championship managers’ and could manage Manchester City one day, ex-teammate Nedum Onuoha insists.
And Onuoha, who played alongside Kompany at City, believes the former defender is the best coach in the Championship by a longshot and insisted he could replace Pep Guardiola at the Etihad one day.He exclusively told talkSPORT: “It is unfair that Vini [Kompany] is coaching in the Championship because he is so far ahead of the other managers that are in that division.
“But first he has to command their respect because its him firstly, but he will say things like ‘how would you like to get more touches on the ball?’“Yeah, yeah, yeah, ‘well we are going to press higher, and this is the why’.“So he always has something at the end of the conversation that will bring people on board.
