Kohl’s has teamed up with size-inclusive activewear brand Superfit Hero to launch a premium activewear collection in select stores nationwide.
Kohl’s now carries a premium activewear collection from size-inclusive brand Superfit Hero"I'm beyond excited to be working with Kohl's on this collaboration,” says Micki Krimmel, Founder and CEO of Superfit Hero. “They have the influence and the reach to bring Superfit Hero's mission of inclusivity to a much broader audience.”. This collection marks one of the first times a major brick-and-mortar store carries sizes through 7X in stores.
“This will literally be the first time some of our customers have the opportunity to walk into a national retailer and pull their size off the rack to try it on. team has been amazing to work with, and we hope this program does really well so we can continue working with them," says Krimmel. This is big news for plus-size customers, who comprise 7o% of the fashion market yet rarely get to try on clothing in stores.
In a statement, a Superfit Hero representative wrote, “One of the most common complaints for plus-size shoppers is the lack of in-store availability for plus-size clothing, with most of the larger sizes being available only online and often topping out at 3X. This is the first time consumers will have the opportunity to try on these sizes in a major retail store like Kohl’s, marking a significant step toward making clothing more accessible.
