Date published: Thursday 9th February 2023 5:02 -Ben Jacobs is reporting that Jurgen Klopp is “frustrated” at the moment but if he leaves Liverpool it will be on his “own terms”.
The Reds have struggled with injuries this season and it looks like a few of their players are now past their peak. There is expected to be a major rebuild in the summer with Jude Bellingham and Matheus Nunes among their targets.but Jacobs thinks it will be a “collaborative decision” when the German comes to leave the club.
“It’s really more about a collaborative decision, which will take a bit longer between Klopp and the ownership group at Liverpool, as to where they want to be. “There’s not a feeling that the dressing room is broken, there’s not a feeling that Klopp is the wrong manager for the job,”“It’s more down to circumstance. Liverpool have had injuries, they haven’t been able to necessarily get all of their targets, there is also uncertainty over FSG and their future at the football club.
