Wearing a full uniform, new quarterback Russell Wilson jogged onto the grass at his new home stadium Saturday night, went through his pre-game routine, then watched Broncos subs dominate the penalty-plagued Cowboys with nearly 65,000 fans in attendance. If I’m coach Nathaniel Hackett, I trot out the top line with Wilson under center for two possessions. Keep it simple to protect Wilson . But I wouldn’t put running back Javonte Williams or receivers Courtland Sutton or Jerry Jeudy out there at all in the preseason.The last thing I want to see is for Wilson, Williams or any key member of the Denver offense to go down with a significant injury during a meaningless exhibition game.
