Kiss’ final tour of Australia has ended before it began
and bolted onto the end of the tour, with the Adelaide Entertainment Centre show next Tuesday elevated to tour-opener. As a result of the reshuffling, the scheduled Dec. 3 concert at Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand was scrapped altogether. “It was hoped the extra few days rest would allow Stanley the chance for a complete recovery so the tour could proceed as planned,” reads a“However unfortunately this has not occurred.
“We are devastated with the cancelation of the Australian tour,” reads the statement from promoters One World Entertainment and TEG Live. “We’ve been in constant contact with the band in the past few days hoping for a positive outcome. We know how much fans were looking forward to the tour. We send our best wishes to Paul for a speedy recovery.”
This isn't the first time poor health has affected the global trek. Earlier in the year, singer and bass player Gene Simmons had surgery to remove kidney stones that resulted in the postponement a show in Salt Lake City.
