The Pierce County Force Investigation Team is investigating an officer-involved shooting that left one person dead Sunday in South Tacoma.

The Kent Education Association responded to the district’s proposal on Facebook, calling it a tactic to break the strike. The teachers’ strike has delayed the start of the school year, and officials with the district told KIRO 7 there will be no classes Monday because of it.
