KimHyangGi, ShinHyunSeung, And More Confirmed To Star In New Romance Drama
Based on a popular webtoon, Playlist Studio and Hulu Japan’s original drama “Secret Playlist” depicts the secret romance between an idol and a YouTuber. The story develops based on a messenger app and draws out unique episodes of the MZ generation.
Kim Hyang Gi will take on the role of Song Han Ju, a female university student who maturely accepts her difficult reality but does not let go of her dream. Han Ju secretly works as a music YouTuber named PLII, but when a popular idol member starts to follow her account, Han Ju’s ordinary life takes a new turn.
Shin Hyun Seung will play Lee Do Guk, a member of the popular idol group SEZ under the stage name Levi. Ahead of his solo debut, Do Guk wants to collaborate with PLII, who runs a music YouTube channel that he enjoys listening to, and in order to make the collaboration happen, he strives to reveal the true identity of PLII.
