The Crown Prosecution Service has authorised seven additional sexual assault charges against Kevin Spacey.There is also a charge of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.
The charges come as a result of evidence gathered by the Metropolitan Police, the head of the CPS special crime division said.They include four charges of sexual assault and one of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent that relate to alleged incidents in London and Gloucestershire involving three men in their 30s and 40s.
Spacey is known for starring roles in American Beauty and The Usual Suspects, for which he won Oscars, and the hit US political thriller series House Of Cards.
