A Kyle Armsworthy RBI single and a Caleb Medicraft sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning gave the Wildcats the lead. Colby Turple stranded the tying run at second base with back-to-back strikeouts in the bottom of the inning.
Codey Shrider, Dryden Schofield and Farrow each had two hits while Matty Johnson, Doug Hassell, Armsworthy and Medicraft each chipped in one. Kai Poffenroth was tagged with the loss after allowing two unearned runs on four hits in 1 2/3 innings of relief.Matt Deneau hit a two-run double in the top of the sixth inning to break a 1-1 tie as Ontario defeated Kentville 3-1.
