There are many things to like about Kei’Trel Clark’s game. Clark is a high-effort player that makes plays in the run game and in pass coverage. In the run game, Clark does a good job of shedding defenders to get to the ball carrier and make a tackle. Clark is an effective tackler and a corner that can be relied upon in run support. In pass coverage, Clark does a good job of staying in phase with receivers and putting himself in position to break up the pass.
Watching Clark, I saw an instinctual defensive back that understands how to play the position at a high level.There aren’t many downsides to Kei’Trel Clark’s game. The one issue that came up is his height and there is simply nothing he can do about that. Playing the outside corner position, Clark has to match up with bigger receivers and this becomes an issue for him. At times, receivers are simply able to jump over Clark and get the ball at its highest point and Clark can’t defend against that.
