Katie Holmes got her big break on The WB’s hit teen soap, “Dawson’s Creek,” but it didn’t take long for the actress to transcend television. From starring in blockbusters like “Batman Begins” and “Thank You For Smoking” to taking the Broadway stage by storm, Katie’s had one successful career in Hollywood.
Right when it seems like everyone is curating their wardrobes with black, white, and beige quiet luxury staples, Katie Holmes materializes to remind us that color can be pretty great, too.This week, the actor doused us with some prime vacation wardrobe inspiration while battling the heat wave on New York City’s Upper West Side. Her outfit consisted of vibrant pieces in blues and purples, boldly styled together.
The lightweight cotton jersey co-ord hails from Faithfull the Brand, and together retails for $380. While most people would then opt for darker, more neutral pieces to complement the colorful patterned set, the Dawson’s Creek alum decided on the opposite. On her shoulder, she carried a large leather grape-purple tote, while on her feet she wore a pair of plum-colored leather ballet flats from Yuni Buffa.
