Kate Teague has shared “Sweetheart,” the latest impassioned single from her debut self-titled EP, which is due out Sept. 20 on Muscle Beach Records. On the track, Teague makes her cutthroat message clear through her dreamy vocal delivery that she’s under the emotional jurisdiction of no one—and intends to keep it that way.
Teague’s first EP has been anticipated since the 2018 release of her lead single, “Low Life,” followed by a consistent roll-out of. These tracks of hers follow suit with “Sweetheart” as they attempt to bridge the gap between whimsicality and sincere lyrical themes of self-empowerment.
