Kate and Rio Ferdinand shared a small glimpse into their festive family day out with son Cree
Kate Ferdinand and her husband, former England pro Rio Ferdinand who recently accepted his OBE from Prince William , enjoyed a festive family day out at Lapland UK, with Kate sharing a rare glimpse into the family outing on her Instagram Stories.
The couple have been married for three years now, tying the knot in a beautiful wedding in Turkey in 2019 and welcoming their son together in December 2020. Kate began dating the footballer in 2017, the same year quitting TOWIE to focus on family life and being step-mum to his three children from his previous marriage, Lorenz, 15, Tate, 13, and Tia, 11.
"When they do this to me - it's not the way I talk, the way I hold myself - everything about me is different.Rio’s first wife Rebecca Ellison, and mum to his oldest three children, tragically passed away from breast cancer at the age of 34 in 2015. Kate also revealed what is has been like stepping into the role of step-mum, saying: "I didn’t think about it too much in depth but, when I was, walking the journey, I found there was lots of difficult moments.
