Kaia Gerber’s latest statement dress reminds us how much she and mom Cindy Crawford are cut from the same cloth. Gerber walked the red carpet at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival Sept. 12 for the world premiere of her new film, 'Shell.' For the screening, the 23-year-old channeled her mother's 1993 Oscars look by wearing a similar white bodycon dress designed by Hervé Léger.
Gerber currently stars in the Max Minghella-directed dark comedy horror alongside Elisabeth Moss and Kate Hudson. The TIFF red carpet wasn't the first time Gerber dug into her mother's closet for inspiration. In 2019, Gerber celebrated her 18th birthday dressed in a Versace black leather and gold buckle ensemble similar to the Versace look her mother wore to the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards. Crawford has spoken about lending more than just clothes to her daughter in the past.
