Martin’s four triples were his most since he shot 6-of-10 in a loss to Milwaukee on May 7, 2021. Over the past eight games, Martin is averaging 1.8 made 3-pointers on 58.3 percent shooting. His season average is up to 35 percent. Martin was part of a domino effect within Houston’s offense late in the game. The Rockets initiated a two-man game between Kevin Porter Jr. and Wood that, combined with Green’s aggressive drives, often left Martin open in the corner. When Martin made his shots, it forced the Jazz to divert attention back to him and opened up the Rockets’ spacing.
