Juvenile suspect arrested in shooting that killed 16-year-old boy in National City [Breaking]
The teen, whose name was not released because he is a juvenile, is accused in the death of Damien Estrada, who was shot in the head around 9 p.m. July 20 near East 16th Street and Euclid Avenue, National City police said.Witnesses reported seeing three people running away after the shooting, police said.
National City police detectives, with help from U.S. Marshals, arrested the teen suspect on Thursday.The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing, authorities said. Anyone who may have information related to this investigation is encouraged to call the National City Investigations Division at 336-4457 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 580-8477.
