Jurors are weighing the arguments in the case of Ghislaine Maxwell, who is accused of recruiting underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein to abuse.
The jury hearing the Ghislaine Maxwell trial began deliberating Monday after closing arguments, during which prosecutors portrayedas a sophisticated predator and defense attorneys described her as a scapegoat for Jeffrey Epstein.
“Ghislaine Maxwell was dangerous,” said Assistant U.S. Attorney Alison Moe. “She was a grown woman who preyed on vulnerable kids.”
