Many strip club workers told City Council members Wednesday that most of their business comes after 2 a.m. Thirteen of the city’s 18 strip clubs close after 2 a.m. at least two nights a week. Some close at 5 a.m. or 6 a.m. every night. All except two of the other nine adult theaters, book stores, video stores and other sexually oriented businesses in the city operate 24 hours.
J. Michael Murray, an attorney representing the businesses suing the city, during Friday’s hearing described the data presented by Dallas police as “shoddy.”
