The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) is actively investigating a reported Grand Park neighborhood shooting that has left three individuals injured, with two of them transported to a nearby hospital.
ActionNewsJax.com News StaffJACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man and two minors were shot on Effee Street.
According to detectives, at around 9:40 p.m., officers responded to reported gunshots and located an adult man and two juvenile boys with life-threatening injuries. A dog was also hit by gunfire. The victims were transported by Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department to a local hospital where one victim was pronounced dead.
Detectives with the Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit responded and are conducting a further investigation. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown.
