Republicans will meet again Thursday and there could be a third vote.

Don Bacon, R-Neb., reiterated his opposition to Jordan, and said he and his family have received threats and been harassed as a result of the pressure campaign Jordan's allies have waged across conservative media.
But it's not clear that any of them can get to 217 votes on the floor. And they aren't likely to announce any bids until Jordan exhausts his options.
