John Wick: Chapter 4 will be released on March 24, 2023, and as the franchise is now steeped in rich lore and endless world-building, there's a lot to catch up on before seeing the action blockbuster. The John Wick franchise has steadily built a fanbase with each movie being more commercially successful and more critically acclaimed than the last, and John Wick: Chapter 4 looks like it'll continue the series' remarkable consistency.
6 The High Table The High Table is the governing body of the world of assassins in the John Wick series, and it's made up of twelve of the world's most powerful crime lords that even John himself fears. There's no knowing how far the High Table's reach goes, as the members have remained hidden. However, John met with The Elder, the only person who doesn't answer to the High Table, in John Wick: Chapter 3.
4 The Bowery King The Bowery King has always been a helpful ally of John's, as he has a homeless network even better than Sherlock Holmes's. But in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, the King pays the price for helping John and refusing to abdicate his position. The Adjudicator orders that he get seven slashes with a wakizashi sword.
