Actor JohnLeguizamo, who played Luigi in the 1993 film adaptation of the popular Nintendo Mario games, will not be seeing the new Super Mario Bros Movie. 'They messed up the inclusion. They dis-included. Just cast some Latin folk!' Leguizamo said.

The actor, who played Luigi in the 1993 film adaptation of the popular Nintendo Mario games, said “Hell no!” when asked if he would see the new film."They could’ve included a Latin character,” he told TMZ.

“Like I was groundbreaking and then they stopped the groundbreaking. They messed up the inclusion. They dis-included. Just cast some Latin folk!" he added. "We’re 20% of the population. The largest people of color group and we are underrepresented," Leguizamo continued.Leguizamo initially spoke out in 2021, tweeting,"So glad #superMariobros is getting a reboot! Obviously it’s iconic enuff.
