John Legend shines on Bigger Love LA tour stop and previews 'Stardust' from next album
At one point on Tuesday night, Legend performed his unreleased song"Stardust," which he said is Teigen's favorite of the many tracks he wrote during the pandemic while bonding with his family. "The lyrics say that each of us has a piece of the universe inside of us, each of us means something to this world and we're part of something bigger," he said as the crowd applauded."You can sing it to your partner, to your kids, to anybody that you love.
Throughout the starry night, Legend shared heartfelt stories and hilarious jokes about his journey from his native Springfield, Ohio -- where he grew up playing piano and singing in church -- to his college days at the University of Pennsylvania, where he worked with other rising acts as well as established artists, to his time working a traditional office job upon graduation.
