'I was a huge fan of hers before I even met her'
last year, the actor spoke about how he told Blunt he was a huge fan of hers during the early days of their romance.
‘I was full stalker status,’ Krasinski joked, shaping his fingers like a pair of binoculars. ‘I was just like, “Hey, you want to go on a date with me?”’The Devil Wears PradaBlunt added of his husband’s love of the film: ‘There's a sort of montage sequence where Annie Hathaway's got numerous, fabulous outfits that they go through and John one day, I came home and he was watching it and he was watching the montage but he goes, “That's my favourite outfit”.
‘Well, I couldn't get Annie, and so I was like...’ Krasinski joked about his relationship with Blunt. Last year, Krasinski also admitted that he broke down in tears when he heard his wife sing ahead of her role inOn the moment he told the film’s director, Rob Marshall, that he had never heard her sing, the actor told: ‘His mouth was wide open. He did not say anything. He just turned to the window, cued the song, the orchestra started playing, and Emily started singing, and I just immediately wept.
‘It was really wild. It was like finding out that your wife can levitate," he added."It was just like, “When were you going to tell me this?”’
