U.S. Sen. John Fetterman said in a tweet Wednesday that he will be chairing his first subcommittee hearing next week.
He will chair the hearing titled “SNAP and Other Nutrition Assistance in the Farm Bill” at 3:30 p.m. April 19 with Sen. Mike Braun, an Indiana Republican. SNAP is an acronym for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, which provides nutrition benefits to supplement the food budget of needy families.We’ll be talking about protecting SNAP, fighting for PA’s farmers in the Farm Bill, and much more.
