Philadelphia's star center said that he feels the 76ers should have a two-game lead in their playoff series against the New York Knicks.
Joel Embiid maintained confidence that the team would be able to turn things around, even claiming that he feels the team should actually be the one with a two-game lead.
"We should be 2–0, so we're good. We're going to win this series. We're going to win this. We know what we've got to fix, we did a better job today, so we're going to fix it. We're the better team and we're going to keep fighting," said Embiid to reporters postgame.Embiid said the 76ers were attempting to call timeout late into the game, but were ignored by the officials. He added that he felt there were many fouls that went uncalled against New York.
The team reportedly intends to file a grievance with the league in regards to the officiating from Games 1 and 2, per Embiid logged 39 minutes in the loss during Game 2, providing the team with 34 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
