The man of many records in his legendary football career is still setting more 28 years later.
The jersey, through collectibles marketplace Goldin, beat out the previous record held by Tom Brady whose jersey sold for $480,000 in January 2022,Montana wore the jersey specifically during Super Bowl XIX, when he defeated Dan Marino’s Miami Dolphins in 1985, and against the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl XXIII in 1989.
