Hunter and Hallie Biden have reportedly called it quits

Page Six reports that the couple, who confirmed their relationship in March 2017, has broken up after nearly two years of dating. They started seeing one another after Hallie's wife and Hunter's brother, Beau, tragically died in 2015 at the age of 46 after a battle with brain cancer.

"Hallie and I are incredibly lucky to have found the love and support we have for each other in such a difficult time, and that’s been obvious to the people who love us most," Hunter said at the time."We’ve been so lucky to have family and friends who have supported us every step of the way."Joe and Jill Biden also released a statement at the time in support of the unexpected romance.

Though it's unclear why Hallie and Hunter have split, a source told Page Six that the split is"amicable."
