WASHINGTON—Joe Biden’s campaign committed Monday to three presidential debates and one vice presidential matchup in the fall, rebuffing efforts by the Trump campaign to expand the number of televised encounters.
The Biden campaign said in a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates that it would accept the planned debate schedule for September and October, and it registered opposition to the Trump campaign’s push for an additional presidential debate.
