President Biden reiterated his call for gun reform as he stopped in Maine to pay respects to the victims and families of those killed and wounded last week after a gunman opened fire at a bar and bowling alley.

“As we mourn today in Maine, this tragedy opens painful, painful wounds all across the country,” Mr. Biden said Friday outside of Just-In-Time. “Too many Americans have lost loved ones or survived the trauma of gun violence.”“I know consensus is ultimately possible,” the president said. “This is about common sense, reasonable, responsible measures to protect our children, our families, our communities.
