ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — A former Liberal cabinet minister has been appointed as the new Lieutenant-Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Aylward, who represented the district of St. John’s Centre, is also the former executive director of St. Patrick's Mercy Home and vice-chair of the Newfoundland and Labrador Labour Relations Board, and chaired the Aging Population Committee for Health Accord for Newfoundland and Labrador.
