Aaron Rodgers reacted to the possibility of reuniting with his former star teammate.
Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has hinted repeatedly at the possibility of a reunion with Davante Adams, his former top receiver with the Packers. But with the prospects of such a reunion rising after Adams requested a trade from the Raiders Rodgers is choosing his words a little more carefully.
Rodger was asked about what message he’d send Adams about starting over in a new place after a trade. Obviously, Rodgers has some experience in that department after he demanded a trade to the Jets last year after spending the first 18 seasons of his career with the Packers – including eight seasons with Adams, a 2014 second-round draft pick.
Sunday’s game is a key juncture for the 2-2 Jets, who are coming off a brutal loss to the Broncos in Week 4 and starting a key stretch of the schedule that has them playing the undefeated Vikings , AFC East leading Bills , and AFC North leading Steelers .
