The Cowboys hope to have their first-team offensive line together in a game Sunday at MetLife Stadium for the first time since Smith was drafted in the 2022 first-round. He pulled out of positional work Monday, walking gingerly off the field while most of the team participated in a 7-on-7 period.

“We felt better about that as we visited and assessed it after practice,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM]. “You always are concerned initially, but as he got acclimated a little bit there off of it, it’s hopefully not as serious enough of an injury to impact him [Sunday]. ... Nothing that we’ve evaluated keeps him out of it at this point.”Those are his keywords. Ultimately, the Cowboys will know more as the week progresses. They are next scheduled to practice Wednesday morning.
