Photo: Steve Granitz/WireImage After 16 years together, Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have announced their split in perhaps the most Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet way. “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times … A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring,” begins their joint breakup statement posted to Momoa’s Instagram.
The post also included pictures of a crescent moon in the sunset and someone holding a baby bird and wearing a shirt that reads “May my soul shout love.” It is a gorgeously bizarre breakup announcement that will live in infamy among such classic hits as Gwen and Chris getting “consciously uncoupled.”
Momoa and Bonet started dating in 2005, eventually getting married in 2017. They share two children: Lola and Nakoa-Wolf . Bonet is also the mother of Zoë Kravitz, whom she shares with ex-husband Lenny Kravitz.
