The comic is celebrating her 62nd birthday
Janey Godley has taken to Twitter to share an emotional message with fans after celebrating 'another year'.Janey announced last December her ovarian cancer, which she was initially diagnosed with in 2021, had returned and that she needed further chemotherapy.She said: "Today is my birthday, I have finally reached 62.
"But I made it another year. Who knows how long I'm going to last? I don't think I'm going to last as long as I wanted to because ovarian cancer is treatable but it's not curable." Janey added: "I want to thank the Scottish NHS, the Beatson for this whole year of treatment, chemotherapy, and maintenance treatment, and thanks everybody who has been supporting me.
