recently, James revealed that getting it all organised was as much stress as you're probably imagining...After already cancelling twice before, it was Kanye who approached James and asked about doing the segment with his Sunday Service choir. The first obstacle? That choir is about 150-people strong.To overcome this challenge, Kanye suggested doing"Carpool Karaoke" on a bus or in a truck.
After rescheduling for Wednesday to give everybody more time, everything was set to go...until it wasn't. While trying to contact Kanye and his team, James got nothing but radio silence back.According to James, at 11am on the Wednesday morning, Kanye's team got in touch to say that it wasn't going to happen, which is exactly what you want to hear for the third time.
Understandably, while driving to the airport, James thought that Kanye might still cancel because...well, it's Kanye.James said:"Even as I walked onto the plane, I thought at some point, someone's gonna go, 'Yeah, no, it's not gonna happen today. We're gonna do it tomorrow.'"
