The Tigers were bested by the Eagles thanks to a turnover-laden effort, repeatedly giving the ball away in fast-break and half-court situations.
The fourth quarter saw the Eagles grow into the game even more, shooting free throws with every foul and stalling with isolation dribbles.
Just as Jackson started to mount the last push for a comeback, Morrow picked up his fifth foul. As the senior forward walked toward the Tigers bench, the emotions of losing his final game in a Jackson uniform started to set in. Moments later Jackson’s leading scorer, Swift, picked up his fifth foul, marking the end of the comeback attempt. He went out of his way to dap every opposing player and coach before making the long walk to the end of the Tiger’s bench where Morrow embraced him.
