Jack Sawyer and Andre Turrentine have each added 20 pounds this season as Ohio State's roster has collectively gotten 356 pounds bigger since last fall.
It would appear that the Ohio State football team has been putting in some work in the weight room these past few months as the team has added a collective 356 pounds since last fall.
Sawyer and Turrentine each saw the biggest gains of any scholarship player since the start of camp with each adding 20 pounds. Sawyer began the season listed at 240 pounds and is now listed at 260 while Turrentine began the season at 175 pounds and is now up to 195. Some of the biggest weight gains this season actually came from walk-ons with the biggest gain coming from walk-on kicker Garrison Smith who began the season at 150 pounds and is now listed at 195 – a gain of 45 pounds. Walk-on linebacker Jalen Pace saw a large weight gain this season as well, adding 32 pounds.Ohio State's early enrollees and transfer additions have been added to Ohio State's official roster with heights and weights listed, but they have not been given jersey numbers.
