It follows her character, Maya, who is a single mother to a daughter named Tara. Maya escaped from her husband Ajit years prior, who forced her to work as a stripper.

By murdering the other man on May 10, Naren allows the forensic investigation team to conclude that the death occurred on that day. This creates a new timeline for the crime, which Maya can share with the police to free herself from suspicion.

He comes to visit her every day at work and even practices what he's going to say to her in front of a mirror. However, his crush alone is not enough to make him take the fall for Maya's crime. He does so because he wants to repay her for saving his life.
