Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, both of whom served as advisers to the former president during his single term in office, have been subpoenaed by the DOJ in their investigation into Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
It’s also possible that Trump will sue to prevent his daughter and son-in-law from testifying, citing his executive privilege in doing so. Even if privilege claims no longer apply now that Trump is out of the White House, the effort could still delay the process for several months.as he was trying to persuade Pence to agree to the fake electors scheme.
